Gerbrandt is the Deputy Head of Research for the Centre For Risk Analysis (CRA). His responsibilities include writing and editing opinion columns, assisting with research reports and bespoke projects, and engaging with the media on topical news items.
In addition, he is the main author of a number of chapters in the CRA’s annual Socio-Economic Survey of South Africa.
